Pure tradition!

               My Husband claims

"...Just like we use to when I was a kid!”

We still use the “koshinos” whenever we crack almonds, pick ‘capari’-caper plants, drain the ‘mosphilia’-small wild yellow apples, when washing for marmalade making. Endless uses for so many tasks. “Verkas” , walking sticks are an annual thing, one of the first winter tasks….remember where you spotted a good one. Early winter you want to locate it, cut it, prep it by cleaning the outer bark, straightening it and then making it into whatever you see it to be. We usually lend them to our guest when they walk a nature trail. Some of them can be purchased as well.
